Pupil Leadership

We value the importance of providing our children with leadership roles, giving then a voice and valuing their opinions so that we can work together on building a positive learning environment.

Y6 Pupil Leaders

Our Year 6 pupils take on a range of leadership roles and always carry out their responsibilities with pride and enthusiasm. 

The leadership roles include-

• Music Ambassadors
• Play Leaders
• Y6 Buddy for YR children

School Council

We have a very active School Council who are elected by pupils within the school. There are two representatives from each class. Members of the School Council are elected each year and they hold meetings throughout the school year. 

Junior Road Safety Officers

Our Junior Road Safety Officers are trained by Hampshire Road Safety Team. They promote road safety across the school through assemblies, newsletters and competitions.

Eco Council

We have a very busy Eco Team who are elected by pupils in the school. They are representatives from each class and they support the school on sustainability and caring for the environment. The Eco Council works closely with Sustainable Bourne Valley and have planted trees , counted wild flowers and attended information workshops for the community. The team meet regularly to discuss topical matters.

Librarians

The librarians are responsible for ensuring that the library is kept organised and for sharing their love of books and reading. They help ensure books are handed in and for putting them back on the correct shelves.
